Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Make a difference at the grass roots level. Whether you are a college freshman or a professional therapist, there are volunteer needs tailored to your skills. Cornerstone Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization located in Belize, a small Central American country, where resources are limited and the needs are great. Multi-ethnic, our people speak a variety of languages such as Kriol, Garifuna, Yucatec Mayan, Spanish, and English (the official language). Thriving so as to meet the needs of our community, Cornerstone works in several program areas. We are seeking volunteers to help with Disabilities, HIV/AIDS, and Relief & Aid to children and seniors; and we offer a short course in Natural Bush Medicine. For more information, please review our website at http://www.peacecorner.org/health.htm or http://www.peacecorner.org/volunteer.htm or email volunteer@peacecorner.org
